As someone who is a recovering depression sufferer, I have to write about an experience with stewed tomatoes late at nite that cleared my attention span 3 fold.
I have always been witness -since childhood- to a sudden sensation of hightened nutritional satiation when biting into tomatoes that were just picked from our family garden.
I forgot about this as adults often do.
I am looking into this. Not just the phytochemical makeup of tomatoes or the famous "lycopene" but ALL of it. Why did a can of stewed tomatoes alongside my balanced meal, clear up my emotional disposition in one sitting. Just like that?
Why.....?
