You can do what you want when you fill out your username and password for a site that promises you the moon and the sky- but as for me; you won't get my UGC unless you have an open human forum where a democratic people can comment, complain, or cross-dress if they want to.
If you don't have a healthy forum that can handle the whiners as well as the winners then get over your throbbing pulsating web-design pomp and circumstance and go into selling a line of lawnmowers with a brick and mortar biz in your hometown.
When a potential 'unique monthly visitor' finds out either:
(a) the websites TOS will take you three 8 hour days to read through or
(b) their system prohibits you to login and "customer support" is backlogged-
how important is it then?
There will be another site that will offer your service bigger, better, and faster than you do.
IMO, a forum like "Get Satisfaction" or "Nabble" should be mandatory for any would-be website before any 'genius' web design ever enters your mind.
Your companys blog-bio will not do.

AND while I am at it- put a friggin email address on every stinkin page.
Burn it if you get spammed and make another one.
See my Ning post on this feedback point.
